Palin bus tour...No "mystery" here.

For those who love our Constitution as well as our God given indavidual liberty there is NO "mystery" about the Sarah Palin bus tour . I mean the words "We the People" are on the side of the bus!The only "mystery" is if she -in fact- will run for President. I hope she does. In my opinion Palin has already proven herself a capable leader. Her common sense solution approch saved Alaska from the TAX-a-crats as well as the "good-ole-boys" of the GOP. She took on the "establishment" and made hard decisions with conservative common sense when beurocrats wanted the status  quo. Is there any wonder that she draws huge supportive crowds on her one nation tour?I know there are many that think she is not "presidental" material--that's fine. Much of the same retoric was aimed at an actor from California that ran for President and not only WON but he proved to be one of the BEST leaders of the free world--his name Ronald Reagan. My point is just this: Sarah Palin has what it takes to lead our nation and bring it back from the brink of (Democrat) disaster.She has the common sense approach,fire in her belly, and a steel spine. All you have to do is to see everyday America responding to the message of common sense solutions and fascal responcibility.The elections of last November are PROOF positive that Americans DO NOT want the direction the deluded Democrats of disaster have been taking us....PERIOD!I know the so called "unbiased" media got their spinmasters going full speed--so what?go ahead liberal fog-makers in the left leaning media--make your "fog" and blow your "smoke". Smart Americans can look right thru "fog' to see the light of common sense shining from the Sarah Palin bus tour. Better yet just read the words that are printed on the side of her bus-----no "mystery" there!!!

Standing with Israel

I agree with the speech made by Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made on c-span. As an American and a friend of Israel  I stand with the standing ovation congress gave! Earlier at the White House president Barack Obama wanted Israel to return to the 1967 borders. if Israel did that they would be opening themselves to the wolves now gnashing their teeth. Does anyone acually believe that those who wish for Israels distruction wish us good? Does the date of 9/11 ring a bell? Israel is the only true democracy in the whole region AND the true beacon of hope for the middle east. Just look at how Arabs live in the countries surrounding Israel--and look at the citizens of Israel -who are the most fre?There are those in washington who think we are "too" pro-Israel. To them I say can you find a better democracy in that WHOLE AREA?Freedom loving people everywhere stand on common ground with Israel...it is called LIBERTY!!Even Harry Ried and Nancy Pelosi supported Mr Netanyahu in his speech and his stand. Someone pinch me--I am acually in agreement with harry Reid??Yes, there IS hope for tomorrow.

For unto us...

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 NKJV)   These words from the Holy Bible are just as true today as they  when Isaiah spoke them long ago!! A promise was given. A word of HOPE!! and then an announcement made to a group of frightened Shepherds. "Fear not!!" then they heard WHY: Then the angel said to them,"Do not be afraid, for I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2: 10-11 NKJV) Today we live in a world much like the world of the shepherds when Jesus was born. We have a government today where many are motivated by their own greed and wish to rule by fear( and many did just that...untill November 2nd) Pesky US Constitution--always standing in the way of those who would impose their despotic rule apon the American people...would'nt you agree Bill Ayers??or how about you Van Jones??I could comment further but I'll save that for another post. Enter into this mix the message of true HOPE--The very one born in the humble manger of bethlehem IS our HOPE for TOMMORROW!! He is STILL the answer TODAY!It is true not just this Christmas season but all YEAR! 24-7. I do not care WHAT billboards that ignorant groups put up!!Jesus birth is documented historical FACT!!Thus we can believe in Christmas. NO government gave it Thus NO government can take it away....PERIOD!!!!This blessed event on that Holy night was devine intervention for a needy world gone astray.Just like the star that shone for the wise men--the HOPE of Jesus  still shines for all "wise" who seek him! I want to wish everyone THE BEST of the Christmas season!!The weather here in Cleveland is just right for the season we are in and I have my hot apple cider brewing-Hmmmm smells good! God bless everyone and see you next year--there is a LOT to write about for sure...but right now I am going to plug in my tree and enjoy a steaming mug of my apple cider!!

The HUGE win of TEA Party favorite Christine O'Donnell over "moderate" Rebublican Michael Castle in the Delaware primary sends a LOUD and CLEAR message to the ruling "elites" in Washington: If you are thinking just because you are a part of the "establishment" you are "safe"?......THINK AGAIN!!!Paladinos win in New York was equally stunning!!These TEA party wins prove that it is indeed WE the PEOPLE..NOT us the "establishment" OR  (more importantly)US the PARTY!In the early days of the American Revolution the Patriotic efforts of the American colonies were ridiculed by the ruling elites in the British Parliment. The Big Government gurus of their day thought they could tax-tax-tax and to HELL with what colonies thought....then came the Boston Tea party in 1773.  The Tea party wins have added many more voices in a Patriotic chourus that the "establishment" in Washington have been ignoring for much too long! (bad mistake Goliath!!)I do not believe they are ignoring them NOW! When an indavidual stands on true principles those principles make that indavidual a LEADER! People will see that and choose accordingly.This is what is happening with the TEA party wins--America has had ENOUGH!!and are DOING something ABOUT IT!! Big  government Goliath has attempted to intimidate the very ones it should be serving--the American People.....Well, the slingshot still works pretty good .....On to November.

Over 500.000 at Beck Rally!!!

To just  say that the Restore Honor Rally hosted by Glenn Beck was a success would be the understatement of the decade! Even the liberal press has to admit it because the shear number demands it. The responce was so huge that one commentator called the event "a great awakening". I would go even further--how about the THIRD great awakening? In the early days of  American Independance the people of this great land woke up to see the TYRANNY emposed on them by Great Britian. Americans realised that they were indavidually created to live indavidually FREE!!!To think for oneself and make indavidual choices. Today we have a law called Obamacare---in this law is an UNconstitutional indavidual "mandate" forcing us into commerce. THAT is NOT LIBERTY!!!Over 60% of Americans have voiced their oppositin to the Socialist direction that this nation is being led. Is government listening? I think the government is just like those who thpoght the Titanic was unsinkable. There are those in Washington that think our economy is just OK and we are all conservative "fear mongers" OH REALLY--tell that to the iceburg!!Over 500.000 showed up to renew faith is God and country. Both white, black and practacally every ethnic group. I ask again....is Washington listining??I do believe over 5000.000 voices united can sound very loud!It is the Thunder of America that is indeed waking up!  Is Washington listining? If they choose not to listen to our UNIFIED voices....they WILL answer to our VOTES!!!!                                           CLEAN HOUSE!!2010!!!

Arizona STANDS UP...Missouri SHOWS UP!!!

As many rally behind Arizona another state has stepped up to the plate...and hit a home run! This past Tuesday in it's first direct referendum-Missouri voters REJECTED Obamacare-casting ballots three to one agenst the plan. WHATTA SMACKDOWN!!Already there are 20 states lined up challenging Obamacare and more are sure to follow. Just reciently a Judge allowed Virginias lawsuit agenst the raw-deal health law to proceed--giving more steam to a rapidly growing STEAMROLLER!! Missouri's Proposition C annulled the "indavidual mandate" within state lines. OH YEAH!! This is a resounding REBUKE to this Democratic controlled Congress and White House. The public opposition to the policies of this TYRANNICAL expansion of government power is overwhelming.The Dems are scrambling but in many ways it is too late. America has had ENOUGH of overbearing,arrogant Washington politicians who think that a voting America has not noticed their shanarigans--is that not right Harry GREED? of Navada.  All over America conserns over a ever expanding government have been expressed at TEA party rallys and Townhall meetings only to fall on DEAF DEMOCRATIC ears!! Well,The GIANT is AWAKE!!People are seeking more truth of what is really happening --and what they are finding is making an already angry AWAKENED GIANT even more P-SSed OFF! I overheard a Democrat that said: We blew it--the Party grabbed to much" to that statement I agree--This November REALITY HITS, The Jericho walls are CRUMBLING!< GOLIATH IS GOING DOWN!

Standing with Arizona...and AMERICA!

Recently a stage was shared by president Barack Obama and the Mexican president Felipe Calderon. As they stood side by side the Mexican president proceeded to criticize Americans and American law!Barack Obama did some "scolding" himself--but not to those here illegally. I do believe (someone correct me if I am wrong here) There is already federal law that is agenst being in this country--illegally?? So why is it that a leader from a different country has the gall to come here to criticize the Arizona law that supports an already existing FEDERAL law??and politicians in THIS country supporting such trash talk??Yes, we have a leadership crisis in this country--BUT NOT in Arizona!!What makes this fiasco even more disturbing to me is  just look at who is for the Arizona law---and who is agenst it. You would think if anyone needed "scolding" it would be directed at the one who cannot even take the steps to  keep his own country employed and prosperous. I know of many latinos that I work with who not only SUPPORT Arizona but wonder why this was not done sooner!!They see that those who are here illegally are taking jobs away from those who are really tring-legally-to make it here.We have politicians and  other states turning their backs on Arizona when we should be backing our fellow Americans who are tring to help solve a very real problem (illegal immagration) that has been going on for a LONG time. Yes, we are a nation of immigrants-but we are also a nation of LAWS., There are many who are here that have no intention to become Americans---ever. This country just cannot sustain the waves and waves of those who are flowing over our borders-swamping our schools and pushing our already strained economy to the breaking  point!!!This election year just look at who is supporting Arizona and who is not. This should give you a good clue who to vote for this November. Now, If you would excuse me I am going to the store to buy some ARIZONA brand tea!!

The American Prayer Lift

Today is the National Day of Prayer. All across America in churches and Yes, I'm gonna say it: in GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS! (sorry ACLU-live with it)   Americans will be reaching up while kneeling down. WE need it!! This country is in deep turmoil.We have an economy in crisis as an out of control spending government propels us to the edge of the cliff. We have a congress that just passed Obamacare with its taxes and unconstitutional indavidual mandate. We have massive flooding in Nashville as welll as a monster oil spill in the gulf of Mexico. YES, There is a LOT to pray about. I do not even pretend to know all the answers but there is one who does! Shortly after World War 2 the city of Berlin was in danger. The Socialist Soviet Union cut off food and supplies. What happened next was almost like a miricle! It was the Berlin airlift. On a wing and a prayer food and supplies were flown in and the city was saved. In the same way we must pray for our nation now. There are those who would stear our nation away from it's Christian heritage to something our founding fathers fought so hard agenst. We are the worlds longest enduring constitutional republic. So on this National Day of Prayer I am announcing an AMERICAN PRAYER LIFT!! to pray for our nation-to humble ourselves so he can lift us up!! I close with a quote from the first prayer offered in congress in 1774" "Be Thou present, O God of wisdom, and direct the councils of this honorable assembly; enable them to settle things on the best and surest foundation." Jacob Duche---September 7, 1774. Amen brother I agree. Oh and by the way ACLU...that prayer was in a GOVERNMENT BUILDING!!!!!

Will "IT" Happen here???

During the final days of WW2 the allies liberated many Socialist Nazi death camps. Even battle hardened soldiers were prepaired  to see what was before them. The horrors of Hitler's regime looked them in the face. As they looked at the depths of cruelty of  deranged minds ... questions arose: how can these things happen? How can the mind  be so deranged to do such cruelty??Can this horror somehow happen again? This weekend will be Holocaust rememberence day. There is a LOT to think about on that subject as well as what is happening in our country right now. If anyone is thinking such hate filled horrors cannot happen here just look at abortion. Look at the ones who are agenst  this madness and who is for it.  Need more proof?Just look at how the TEA Party rallies are treated and talk radio (freedom radio as I call it) .Just mention Glenn Beck, Rush, or even Sarah Palins name around some  "progressives" and watch the reation you get..Look at Obamacare on how it was conceived and passed. Since when is it the job of a government to dictate to the people what goods or services to buy??What is the next step of this Democrat controlled government's" mandates "?What will be our next liberty to fall?Who are the voices  calling for more government and who are calling for less? It is painfully clear the path that many in Washington want to take this nation. Yes , there is a lot to think about. this weekend...and this November when we make OUR choices...I just praise God that is is still not too late.

Yes, It's TIME for COURAGE!!

I agree with the statement made recently made by President Barack Obama. It is indeed a  time for courage. The courage to stand up once and for all agenst this legislative nightmare being rammed on us!!!!Make no mistake about it...with over 60% of Americans  agenst this  legislation there is very little question who is pushing it. The choice of congress is clear: it is ether the will of the American people or the dispotic TYRANNYof a few who are pushing their own agenda. The efforts of real health care reform went out the window long ago with this when congressional DEMOCRATS shut out Republicans (and others) from their closed door meetings. I do believe another blogger here on Town Hall got it right when he called it: the Democrats closed door TYRANNY!!(hat tip-8th man)This monster bill gives new meaning to the term "March Madness"!!! Right now the Democrats do not have the votes to pass this thing and yet they are still tring to move this monster thru another way--what does that tell you about their attitude toward the American people??. All you have to do is to look at the Patriotic TEA Party rallies to see how politicians as well as many in the media react to those who are speaking out .. The left and the media are working very hard to maintain the fiction that those at the rallies are anti-government-NOT SO!!  Everyday Patriotic "Joe the Plumber" hard working Americans are gathering at TEA Party rallies to protest a TAX-aholic government that is on spending path to oblivion!  Thank God for the TEA Party Express, Heritage foundation,and talk radio! (freedom radio as I call it)As I said before yes, it is a time for courage. I do not know what will happen this week but what I do now is congress has a choice to make--what direction will you further take this nation?? We the American people are watching.

Piercing the Democratic Darkness

It was not long ago when house speaker Nancy Pelosi snuffed out the lights and killed the power to the microphones in congress.---Darkness and Silence. Before that we were promised "transparency" also "the most open and ethical congress in history". Well, we know now what happened with those now do we not???Now the Democrats are in a tailspin because of the results of  the recient elections. What did they expect?? The GOP victories in Virginia, New Jersey, and the "smack down" in massachusetts were a referendum on the Democratic leadership and the direction they were taking this country. Americans have spoke up (at Townhalls, TEA Party meetings) only to be ignored by those who were supposed to represent THEM. Now Americans are STANDING UP and VOTING!! The gloves are OFF...the can of WHOOP(you know what) has been opened. If any Democrats are still in DE-NIAL about what is happening just listen to the talk shows---many (both conservative AND liberal callers) are calling Rush, Hannity and Glenn Beck to share their frustration at the failed leadership that has put this country in greater peril than ever before. 2010 has just begun and America is waking up and seeing that the very future of our country also of  our childern is at stake.Thank God it is not too late to take action. The actual elections may be in November but for many they are happening NOW. It is time to take our country back!!The gloves are off--the darkness is pierced-the fight is ON!Goliath is going DOWN!!!!                 BOTH house and senate 2010         Palin in 2012!!!!

Principles empower Palin...not politics.

Just a few pages into her book and one quickly sees the real motivation behind Sarah Palin...principles. From the right to life booth at the Alaskan state fair to taking on the "good old boys" of the GOP--this strong lady has proved her mettle. Priciples do not change,they do not belong to any political party,and will work when indaviduals are brave enough to embrace them. Palin has been pounced apon, slammed, and pounded ..yet still she stands. That is easy to do when your standing on solid ground. Have you noticed in the parable of the wise man building his house apon a rock it is the same storm that hits both houses? It is the foundation that makes the difference. This nation was founded on Biblical principles that have worked thru the ages. We have grown and prospered more than any other nation on this planet. We have been blessed with Victory in the wars we have fought and for the most part because the magority of Americans still hold fast to the founding conservative principles our founding fathers believed it. The TEA party movement is proof positive that Americans want those principles(responsibility-small government) and the townhall meetings have voiced that for many!!This past Christmas season we have seen 60 votes that spoke volumes of what many so called public servants think of our principles. Now 2010 is here. This year will be decisive in many ways. People are looking for answers and real hope. There IS hope! as long as indaviduals bravely embrace proven principles that work. I do not know what the next steps Sarah Palin will take but one thing I do know they will be on solid ground. Now, if you excuse me I have to read the rest the rest of this book!!        onward! both the house and senate in 2010.....Palin in 2012!!!

Wise men STILL seek him!!

There is a whole lot more to the Christmas story of the visting magi than many know. First, we do not know how many wise men there were that visited the Christ child. Many believe there were three because of the gifts  they brought-gold, franensence, and murrh. What is truly important is that they have read the prophesy concerning the Messiah, where he was to be born, and the signs of his arrival. When they saw his star in the east--they rejoiced! Then sought him to pay their homage.   You can imagine the joy there was when they saw Jesus!!Is is any wonder the angels proclaimed "Glory to God in the highest,and on earth peace good will to men" (Luke  2:14). The world of the wise men was pretty rough. The Romans were breathing down their backs and the taxes were practically breaking their backs! Not much has changed since then,HOWEVER, The wise men sought (and found) what they were searching for!! I want to take this time to wish everyone here at Townhall (and all who may read my post) the very best this Holy Season!! May we all be like the magi who were very wise to seek the Christ child! The world is desperately seeking answers to many burdens they have. God has sent us the answer in one package that Holy night!! May everyone truly find it because the star is still shining bright and the Christmas message is still true!!! This is truly the real HOPE for TOMORROW!! Merry Christmas EVERYONE!!!

Palin shines strong on Oprah!!

Yes, Wonder Woman has a name...and her name is Sarah Palin. On Oprah Winfrey "the maverick" shone strong and was solid as a rock. I was glad that Oprah was the one fielding questions because I knew that she would be level and fair-unlike a certain interview on CBS that was (in my opinion) very cruel and very biased.Sarah Palin has been thru Hells hurricane and has come thru stronger than ever!! When people look to leaders they natually look for indaviduals who have the "inner stuff" to make it as well as the "smarts" to match---Palin has proved herself in both many times over. I am well aware of the so called "fact checkers" that have been sent out to ravage Palins book. Has anyone noticed that when Al Gore came out with his material ---where was this army of "fact checkers"??????some food for thought.I also find it strange that the media is all too quick to pounce on Palin for writing her book when a certain presidential canidate (who is president now) wrote a book and may I add got a lot from its salesHMMMMM. The bottom line here is This steadfast, solid, courageous woman is her own person. She is a genuine conservitive who has went up agenst "the big boys" and WON. Perhaps that is one of the cheif reasons so many on the liberal side of the political arena are afraid of her.Just like David when he went up agenst mighty Goliath Palin is looked at with scorn and snears by many who think she is dumb and not quilified. I would remind those who are so puffed up full with their own armor and are looking down their noses at Palin to read the Biblical passage of young David and Goliath. Was David young? Yes, was he up agenst a towering-full of himself-gasbag who used intimadation and bullying language to silence opposition?? Yes -again. But David had the "inner stuff" to make it and truth was not just in his slingshot. America is looking for those who have the courage to step up to the challenge--Sarah Palin is answering that call.

Fox News vindicated on The Insider.

The phrase"first on Fox" rang true again this week. On the popular entertainment info-show The Insider host Lara Spencer confirmed that it was indeed Fox News that first raised questions about the balloon story.We all know now that this was a big hoax put on by those who seek to be the stars of their own show. Fox news is the first I turn to when I look at what is happening. I find their reporting to be not only cutting edge but much more trustworthy than another network that boasts to be "the most trusted name in the news" This is my opinion of course--I am a free American. You hear the name Fox News a lot these days mainly because of the conflict the current white house  administration has with the news network. If this does not bother you--it should. Why does is administration see fit to go after a creadible news network like Fox??Maybe because they are afraid of some of the questions Fox News is asking??What was the name of the news network that shone the light on ACORN??-you guessed it FOXNEWS. The white house "communications" director Anita Dunn said: "we are going to treat them (foxnews) the way we would treat an opponent. " A WHAT?? So now Fox News is the "enemy"?? Is this Nixon in reverse or what!!!!who is next on their "list" CBS? NBC? or even The insider if they get in their way. The bottom line here is it is dangerous for anyone to persecute Fox News or any broadcaster -especially when they are just doing their job.It could be just another sign of the slippery slope this country is taking towards becoming what it ought not to be. I salute The insider and keep shining the light Fox News---only darkness runs when the light switch is turned on.
